Abstract
Introduction: Nevus Sebaceus of Jadassohn (NSJ) is a conjenital hamartomatous lesion which usually involves the face or the scalp. Number of benign and malignant neoplasms can increase. Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC) is a typical kind of such malignancies.
Materials & Methods: Hereby, we report a case of BCC of the scalp arising from NSJ. The lesion was surgically taken away completely.
Findings: Histopathologic results has confirmied BCC arising from NSJ.
Discussion & Conclusion: Any unnatural growth at the region of head and neck must be considered suspicious and a biopsy is suggested to clarify the case.

Abstract
Introduction: Intravenous opioid injection
as premedication is one of the most
common methods for preventing and
controlling hemodynamic changes due to
laryngoscopy and tracheal intubation. Using
such drugs is not suggestsd in pregnant
women who candidate for cesarean section,
because of respiratory depression in the
newborn, but in special conditions such as
preeclampsia, anesthetists can inject low
doses of fentanyl(as a synthetic opioid).
Because of rapid metabolism of
remifentanil and no respiratory effects in
the newborn, it can be introduced as a
perfect alternative for longer acting opioids
in such conditions.
Materials & Methods: This study was
done as a randomized clinical trial on
preeclamptic pregnant women who were
candidate for cesarean section under
general anesthesia. They were divided into
two groups: in one group 1ml. fentanyl was
injected before induction of
anesthesia(n1=18) , and in the other group
0.05 g/kg/min remifentanil was infused for
3 minutes before induction (n2=20).
Afterwars, of heart rate, systolic and
diastolic blood pressures before and after
intubation and also the newborn's apgar
were measured and assessed.
Findings: All hemodynamic indices
increased after intubation in the fentanyl
group , and increase in diastolic pressure an
heart rate was significant. Mild increase in
heart rate and decreasing in systolic and
diastolic blood pressure after intubation in
remifentanil group was achieved that the
decrease in systolic blood pressure was
significantly different(R1=154.35,
R2=148.35). Comparison of changes
between the two groups also demonstrated
significant difference (Pval.<0.05). The
newborns mean apgar score showed no
signifant difference between the two
groups(AP.remi=0.88, AP.fent=0.86).
Discussion and Conclusion: Considering
no difference between the newborns apgar
in both the groups and results of assessment
of hemodynamic indices, it can be
suggested to use remifentanyl in pregnant
women who are candidate for cesarean
section under general anesthesia to prevent
severe increase in blood pressure and heart
rate during tracheal intubation.

Abstract
Abstract
Background: Rapid processing of histological sections is considered helpful to make decision in critically ill patients. Conventional processing takes about 24 hours. New automated processors have been reduced this time to 8 – 12 hours. Using microwave methods in fixation and tissue preparation have shortened the processing time to 30 minutes-6 hours. In this study we investigated the possibility of using kitchen microwave ovens in tissue processing as a cheap, and valuable source of energy.
Method: We processed 52 samples from 26 different animal tissues. One set of samples was processed using conventional method and the other one was processed using the microwave method. The sections were then assessed by three expert pathologists in a blind setting.
Results: In 93/58 percent of sections processed by conventional method and 84/61 percent of sections made by microwave method, samples were considered suitably identifiable. In our study participating pathologists could not differentiate between the two methods in 97/43 percent of the cases and only in two pair (2/56 %) of sections the method was correctly differentiated.
Conclusion: our study showed that microwave technology reduces the processing time in tissue sections without any negative effects on their quality in comparison with conventional method. Furthermore, our study revealed that kitchen microwave oven can be used as an alternative of automated microwave machines.

Abstract
Introduction: The role of E-cadherin and CD44 has been proven in the development and progression of cancerous and precancerous lesions. It seems that these two markers have a high ability to evaluate the premalignancy of lichen planus lesions and oral leukoplakia. This study aimed to investigate and compare the expression of CD44 and E-cadherin markers in oral leukoplakia, lichen planus, and oral squamous cell carcinoma (SCC).
Material & Methods: This analytical-descriptive study was conducted on 60 blocks of lichen planus, leukoplakia, and squamous cell carcinoma. The blocks were stained by CD44 and E-cadherin antibodies. The obtained data were analyzed in SPSS software (version 22), and a P-value of 0.05 was considered statistically significant.
Findings: Only 30% of the SCC samples expressed the CD44 marker, while 40% and 50% of leukoplakia and lichen planus samples expressed the CD44 marker, respectively. The expression of the E-cadherin marker in SCC samples was 40% in the range of staining, while it was 50% and 60% in leukoplakia and lichen planus, respectively. There was not a significant difference between the staining intensity of CD44 and E-cadherin (P<0.16). However, in SCC, 70% of the cases showed mild to moderate expression intensity that was statistically significant, compared to lichen planus and leukoplakia (P<0.004).
Discussion & Conclusion: It seems that the severity of CD44 and E-cadherin incidence can indicate the changes in dysplasia and premalignancy of oral lichen planus and leukoplakia, compared to oral carcinomas.

Abstract
Introduction: Leishmaniasis is one of the six infectious diseases emphasized by the World Health Organization. Mehran and Dehloran cities in the south of Ilam province are endemic centers of cutaneous leishmaniosis in the country. Ilam Province, having near to 420 km common border with Iraq, is exposed to many zoonotic and tropical diseases, including Cutaneous leishmaniasis. Therefore, prevention, early diagnosis and treatment are essential. The registration program is an inseparable and necessary component of comprehensive patient care systems, which can be used as a tool to show the status of the disease. By providing sufficient data, this program has a useful role for managers to use in health care planning. Registry is a necessary component of comprehensive patient care systems, which can be used as a tool to show the status of the disease, which is called follow-up.
Material & Methods: The aim of Cutaneous leishmaniasis registration program in the endemic areas of Ilam province is collection and comparing the correct methods of diagnosis disease with the common one (microscopy) and determining the number of errors made by laboratory experts in the form of a cross-sectional study from May 2018 to august It is 2020.
Findings: By using molecular tests (PCR) to 10% of all positive slides received from Dehloran and Mehran cities, about 5% were false positives, and 28% of all negative slides collected was false negative. It should be mentioned that the implementation of the registration program in Ilam province during the epidemic of corona disease.
Discussion & Conclusion: According to the findings of this study and the importance of the disease due to its endemicity in the southern part of Ilam province, the presence of increasing prevalence of the disease in the past years, the relation between of the traffic of Arbain Hosseini pilgrims with the period of transmission of the disease, mental and physical complications caused by the disease, it is recommended to ensure the referral diagnosis reports of health and laboratory experts, and apply the correct method of diagnosis and reporting, elimination of suspicious, positive and false negative result, and start a molecular diagnosis center, that can help patients be followed up with the correct diagnosis until the of recovery of the treatment period.

Abstract
Introduction: Cyber harassment of students is a significant stressor in today's society. Medical students are responsible for the physical health of people in the future, so paying attention to their mental health is of enormous importance. Therefore, the purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of teaching emotion-oriented processing strategies on the perceived stress of cyberbullied medical students.
Materials & Methods: The present research was a quasi-experimental study that was conducted on medical students of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in the academic year of 2022-2023. Thirty cyber-damaged medical students who had been cyberbullied and perceived stress were selected by the purposive sampling method and randomly divided into experimental and control groups. The educational intervention included 9 sessions, an hour for each session, virtually through the Skyroom platform. Before and after the intervention, participants filled out demographic and Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) data collection forms. The statistical test consisted of the ANOVA, which was analyzed by SPSS V.25, and the level of significance was considered less than 0.05.
Results: The mean and standard deviation of the perceived stress scores among medical students who suffered from cyberbullying in the post-test of the experimental groups decreased compared to the control group (P=0.003). Based on the covariance analysis, there was a significant difference in the perceived stress scores of the experimental group compared to the control group (P<0.038).
Conclusion: The use of emotion-oriented processing by the cyberbullied medical students can improve their perceived stress.
