Abstract Introduction:The purpose of this research was to verify the effects of training intervention based on Meeker's method on semantic-cognitive performance on third to fifth grade elementary school students. Materials & Methods: The 60 students who scored lowest in the Per-tests were selected and assigned randomly as the experimental and control groups. There were 30 boys and 30 girls in each group. Findings: The results of three separate analysis of Covariance showed that there was a significant effect of training in the experimental as compared to the control group that is, the experimental group semantic-cognitive performance improved by training (p<0/001). Conclusion: Thus, It is possible to identify the student's strengths and weaknesses at elementary school level by Meeker's Tests and train them to improve their weak points if there are any.
