 Journal of Ilam University of Medical Sciences (JIUMS) is an open access peer-reviewed journal published bimonthly by Ilam University of Medical Sciences, Iran. It was founded in 1994 and publishes regularly. It is a journal with multidisciplinary scope, relevant to medicine and allied sciences, which publishes original research papers, short communications, case reports, review articles, and letters to the editor. This journal has been approved as an “Academic Research Journal” by the Journal Commission of Ministry of Health and Medical Education. JIUMS is published bimonthly by the Deputy of Research of Ilam University of Medical Sciences in Persian and contains full texts with English and Persian abstracts.
