The Journal of Ilam University of Medical Sciences (JIUMS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, interdisciplinary journal committed to advancing knowledge across all fields of medical sciences. As the official journal of Ilam University of Medical Sciences, JIUMS aims to disseminate high-quality scholarly work that contributes to the improvement of healthcare delivery, encompassing both pre-hospital emergency services and inpatient hospital settings. The journal is dedicated to fostering scientific innovation, enhancing clinical outcomes, and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration among healthcare professionals, researchers, and educators, with a particular emphasis on bridging regional research with global scientific discourse.
Scope

To enhance accessibility and engagement with both regional and international audiences, JIUMS strongly encourages submissions written in Persian, provided they include a comprehensive extended English abstract. The journal plans to publish two issues per year entirely in English. All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the scientific integrity, methodological robustness, and clinical relevance of all published content.
