Aims and Scope
The Journal of Ilam University of Medical Sciences (JIUMS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access publication dedicated to advancing knowledge across all fields of medical sciences. As the official journal of Ilam University of Medical Sciences, JIUMS aims to serve as a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research and scholarly work that contributes to the development and improvement of healthcare in both pre-hospital and hospital settings.
The journal welcomes original research articles, short communications, case reports, and letters to the editor-in-chief that address a wide range of topics within the medical sciences in the pre-hospital and hospital environments. Submissions may include basic science, clinical studies, public health, health policy, and interdisciplinary research relevant to medical practice and health systems.

- General and Internal Medicine
- Clinical Medicine
- Basic and Applied Medical Sciences
- Public Health and Epidemiology
- Medical Education and Ethics.
JIUMS is committed to supporting scientific innovation, improving healthcare delivery, and fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals, researchers, and educators.
