ارزیابی رابطۀ میان بیان گیرنده‌های فعال‌کنندۀ تکثیر پراکسی‌زوم (PPARα, PPARγ and PPARδ) و آنتی‌ژن کارسینوامبریونیک (CEA) در بیماران مبتلا به سرطان کولورکتال

مقدمه: بر اساس مطالعات موجود، افزایش میزان آنتی‌ژن کارسینوامبریونیک (CEA) با پیشرفت سرطان کولورکتال همراه است و به‌عنوان یک عامل تشخیصی حساس برای CRC در نظر گرفته می‌شود و از سوی دیگر، اخیراً به نقش گیرنده‌های فعال‌کنندۀ تکثیر پراکسی­زوم (PPARs) در سرطان کولورکتال توجه شده است. هدف از مطالعۀ حاضر بررسی رابطۀ میان میزان بیان PPARs با CEA در بیماران مبتلا به سرطان کولورکتال است.
مواد و روش ها: در این مطالعه، تعداد 100 نمونه بافت توموری اولیه به همراه نمونۀ بافت سالم مجاور آن و نیز نمونۀ سرمی بیماران مبتلا به سرطان کولورکتال که تحت عمل جراحی قرار گرفته بودند، از بانک تومور انستیتو کانسر تهران تهیه شد. میزان بیان PPARs در نمونه‌های بافتی و میزان CEA در نمونه‌های سرمی بیماران و نیز ارتباط میان این مارکرها ارزیابی گردید.
یافته‌ها: نتایج به‌دست‌آمده از این مطالعه نشان داد که میزان بیان PPARs و نیز میزان سرمی CEA در سرطان کولورکتال به‌طور معنا‌داری افزایش می‌یابد (P<0.01). اگرچه میزان این مارکرها در بیماران با پیشرفت و گسترش بیماری ارتباط معنی‌داری نشان داد (P<0.01)؛ اما ارتباط معنا‌داری میان میزان بیان PPARs و میزان سرمی CEA در این بیماران دیده نشد (P>0.05).
بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: مطالعۀ کنونی نشان داد که میزان بیان PPARs و نیز میزان سرمیCEA  با پیشرفت و گسترش بیماری مرتبط است؛ اما ارتباط معنی‌داری میان میزان بیان PPARs و میزان سرمیCEA  در بیماران مبتلا به سرطان کولورکتال وجود ندارد.
