Materials and Methods: antiniciceptive activity was done using by formalin, hopt plate and writhing tests.the chamoline ethanolic extract (5,10 and 50 mg/kg body wt.)was injectedIntraperitoneally. the control group was administrated with saline.

Result: the results showd that the chamoline ethanolic extract decreased only second phase of formaline induced pain. in hot plate Ethanolic extract exhibited antinociceptive activity against writhing-induced by acetic acid.
